This is first page which may be the model for changing this site's format from chronological to subject matter pages.......As this page is "Motorcycle"....... if not also retitling some as to "retro-galleries." We'll see. A little history on these .....These were done for painting on the exterior sheet metal wall of a car wash owned by the late Bob Archibald. The project was scrapped, probably by me.
Car wash mural study #1
Oil pastel c1969 - 4" x 7" - Will translate nicely to larger prints, even digital on canvas.
Car wash mural study #2
Acrylic c1969 - 4" x 7" People have asked what the white disk is or means in the center. On the actual car wash wall is an electric power meter. I was painting that as if it was attached to a pole, hence the pole also in each study done.
Car wash mural study #3
Acrylic c1969 - 4" x 7" The actual size of the outside mural was to be 8 feet wide and 14 feet high.
Car wash mural study #4
Oil pastel c1969 - 6" x 8" - This would have been the actual finalized version to be painted.
